Mount Martha is a beautiful seaside village 61km South East of Melbourne CBD.
The beach is home to numerous colourful bathing boxes, a Yacht Club and a brand new
(completed 2015) Surf Life Saving Club.
Directly across from the beach and running parallel, is the compact row of shops, cafes and
restaurants.
Shops ranging from a well stocked IGA supermarket and Liquor Store, to a butcher and baker and
well, no candle stick maker, but you can buy stunning scented candles from Tingo, the gift shop
that sprawls onto the childrens playground at the back of the shops.
Coffee is easily tracked down at either Milkbar&Co, Mr Curtis, Via Batisti, Higher Ground or
Providore. All these cafes offer something slightly different when it comes to food, but you can be
sure they will all come through with the goods.
Volpino is the local Trattoria serving wood fire pizza and other delicious Italian meals, accompanied
with a good vino or two!
Other restaurants include The Rosai Indian cuisine and Wok on Bay being the quintessential
Chinese restaurant.
Beach Box Fish and Chips serves up the perfect “takeaway and eat at the beach” meal.
Chill offers refreshing ice creams with a large assortment of flavours.
